About the job
What is my role?
Our client is looking for you as a motivated junior professional in the HR field for a central role in personnel management. You bring initial HR experience and want to develop your expertise further. As the first point of contact for employees, you accompany them throughout their entire employee life cycle:
You support all HR processes from recruitment to exit and learn to manage these increasingly independently
As a contact person for personnel-related questions at all company levels, you gradually develop into a sought-after expert
You familiarise yourself with monthly payroll processing and social security administration and take on these tasks increasingly independently
Time tracking, absence management, as well as documentation of sick notes and accidents are part of your duties
You actively participate in talent acquisition, onboarding, and internal development programmes
As a sparring partner for HR management, you get to know strategic initiatives and special projects and contribute your input
This position offers you the ideal opportunity to deepen your initial HR experience and qualify as an HR specialist through part-time further training. Our client actively supports you on this path.
What do I need to be successful?
For this responsible position, you ideally bring a communicative personality who values confidentiality and genuinely enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds. Independence and attention to detail characterise your working style. You keep an overview even with complex tasks and work in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
Solid commercial or comparable training
Initial practical experience in personnel administration, payroll accounting, or a related HR field. This forms your foundation for further development
Analytical thinking and confident handling of digital tools are among your strengths
Clear motivation and willingness to complete a recognised HR qualification (e.g. HR specialist with a federal certificate) alongside your job
You do not need to have completed an HR qualification yet; your initial HR experience and willingness to develop professionally are decisive. Continuous qualification in personnel management is natural for you, and you are highly motivated to develop into a qualified HR specialist through targeted further training. Our client actively supports you in specialising and staying up to date.
What are my benefits?
Our client offers you a position where you can purposefully expand your initial HR experience and develop into a qualified HR specialist. You actively shape HR processes and gradually take on more responsibility in a very small, family-like HR team.
State-of-the-art working time models with genuine work-life balance: flexible arrangement between office and mobile working
Attractive location with excellent transport connections in the Bern region and free parking facilities
Active support and financing of your HR further training to become an HR specialist with a federal certificate
Structured induction and continuous support by experienced HR professionals
Room for personal and professional development in a future-oriented organisation
You will especially appreciate the short communication channels and a culture where your ideas are heard and implemented. You can contribute, have real influence, and qualify as an HR specialist in parallel.
What distinguishes the company?
Our client is an established Swiss company with a solid market position. The company employs staff in the mid double-digit to triple-digit range and combines proven structures with modern approaches. Diversity, fairness, and sustainable action are central values of the lived corporate culture. The company offers a stable working environment with a long-term perspective.
