Senior Physician - Clinician Scientist Eating Disorders 100% (60% Clinic, 40% Research)
Your Responsibilities (Clinic)
- Co-design and conceptual development of our university eating disorders outpatient clinic
- Participation in the strategic further development of the clinical focus on eating disorders
- Senior physician duties in the specialised outpatient clinic for eating disorders in childhood and adolescence
- Supervision and training of assistant physicians as well as psychologists
- Participation in the senior physician on-call service for the entire child and adolescent psychiatric clinic
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary and interprofessional partners within and outside the clinic
Your Responsibilities (Research)
The position is designed as a Clinician Scientist role. We seek a personality who wishes to actively shape scientific questions. The research focus includes, among others:
- Clinical studies in the field of eating disorders
- Digital interventions and virtual reality applications
- Biological and psychological mechanisms of eating disorders
- Innovative care models and translation into clinical practice
Your Competencies
- FMH specialist title in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy or an equivalent title with MEBEKO recognition (mandatory for foreign diplomas) or advanced training with corresponding clinical experience
- Solid experience in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders
- Enjoyment in developing new clinical concepts
- Interest in scientific work and university medicine
- Team spirit, initiative, and enjoyment of interprofessional work
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least language level C1)
