For our client, an established Swiss IT and consulting company, we are looking for a software engineer with a solid technical background and the ambition to develop into a technical lead in the future.

You work hands-on on business-critical applications, integrations and digital products for clients from various industries. In doing so, you combine solid software engineering with modern cloud, DevOps and AI-supported development approaches. With increasing experience, you take on more responsibility for architecture, technical decisions and the further development of your team.

Your tasks

Development and further development of modern, business-critical enterprise applications
Design and implementation of APIs, services and system integrations
Participation in architecture, data model and technology decisions
Support of solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle – from requirements to productive operation
Use of modern AI tools for analysis, development, testing, refactoring and documentation
Ensuring high software quality through automated tests, code reviews and CI/CD
Identification and pragmatic reduction of technical debt
Close collaboration with clients, business analysis, project management, DevOps and other software engineers
Gradual assumption of technical responsibility for solutions, components and development decisions
Prospective development towards technical lead

Our requirements

Several years of experience in professional software development with an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, Kotlin or comparable
Experience with modern backend frameworks and the development of complex enterprise applications
Good knowledge in the design and development of APIs as well as in the integration of different systems
Experience with relational databases, automated testing, CI/CD and modern development processes
Understanding of cloud technologies and modern software architectures
Awareness of security, scalability, stability, performance and long-term maintainability
Interest in increasingly taking on architecture and technical leadership responsibilities alongside development
Active and at the same time critical use of AI-supported development tools
Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
Very good German language skills
