MAINTENANCE AND SERIES LIFE TECHNICIAN TEST STATION POSITION M/F
The Test Station department holds the expertise for the study, realisation, validation and commissioning of test equipment that forms part of our client’s advanced industrial tool.
Its mission? To design, build, validate and maintain the testers that will ensure the quality of the designed products.
Thus, no fewer than 215 active test stations, created internally, test daily the conformity and quality of all products manufactured within our client’s factories to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Therefore, under the responsibility of the Series Life Support Manager, you will have to:
- Manage the maintenance and troubleshooting of test stations to ensure a high level of availability.
- Carry out periodic capability studies of the test stations. (Training is provided internally for this subject).
- Perform the hardware (wiring) of testers based on electrical diagrams.
- Carry out the calibration of the Test Stations.
Your roles and responsibilities
- Support and train maintenance teams for level 1 troubleshooting,
- Ensure level 2 troubleshooting and maintenance of test stations,
- Organise work (rules, information, tools) to ensure optimal productivity,
- Ensure the professional completion of the electrical part of the tester,
- Provide Series Life feedback to Test Station Engineers for consideration in design,
- Consolidate activities to take a step back and determine improvement actions.
Your skills
You have skills in electronics, electricity and wiring. You enjoy fieldwork and are attracted to a highly technical environment.
You are rigorous and methodical. You are curious, proactive and pedagogical. You possess a good analytical mind allowing you to successfully carry out your tasks.
Knowledge of LabVIEW and calibrations is a plus.
Your background
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electronics technician or electrotechnician or equivalent (BTS / DUT specialising in electronics, such as BTS Digital Systems, BUT Physical Measurements or BUT Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing, or a Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Sensors and Metrology). You have at least 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance activities. Eager to learn, this position is open to those wishing to train in test station maintenance.
