Accountant 80%

We are recruiting for our client an 80% accountant immediately available for a temporary assignment (sick leave replacement).

Our client is an SME based in Plan-les-Ouates.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this 80% accountant will be as follows:

Participate in maintaining general, supplier and customer accounting, supporting the accountant while

ensuring the quality of accounting entries, respecting deadlines, internal procedures and

Swiss legal obligations.

More specifically on customer accounting:

* Participate in maintaining customer accounting and follow-up: monitoring the preparation and issuance of invoicing and reminders while ensuring quality customer relations

o Manage bank reconciliation for Swiss customers

o Creation of documents for Swiss customers

• Ensure daily management (ADV): customer orders and invoices
• Respect the usual invoicing schedule and specific invoicing (quarterly, semi-annual and annual)

More specifically on supplier accounting:

• Participate in the accounting of supplier invoices excluding logistics and filing of invoices
• Ensure the accounting of expense reports
• Accounting of credit cards

Candidate Profile

The 80% accountant we are looking for will bring the following profile and skills:

• Commercial employee CFC training (finance / accounting option) or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting with sensitivity to invoicing topics
• Knowledge of general accounting in Switzerland
• Knowledge of accounting closing principles
• Experience working with an ERP or accounting software
• Interpersonal skills: sense of priorities, rigour and accuracy, confidentiality, ease in contacts and good communication, customer orientation, ability to work independently, proactivity, versatility, initiative, team spirit
