What you can look forward to.
In this key role, you are responsible for strategic material planning and control in infrastructure. Together with your team, you continuously develop material supply along the end-to-end process and lay the foundation for sustainable, economical, and future-oriented material management. You will work in a versatile environment with great scope for design and collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
What you can achieve.
- You lead a team of four materials managers and a project manager and strengthen cross-departmental collaboration.
- You are responsible for strategic material planning and develop strategies and supply concepts for long-term availability.
- You optimise the rolling material forecast and create transparency about future requirements.
- You lead development, transformation, and optimisation initiatives across departments and drive continuous improvement of material management.
- You further develop standards, methods, and control instruments and represent material management in strategic committees.
- You work closely with specialist departments, projects, and external partners and promote sustainable material supply.
What you bring with you.
- You have several years of leadership experience and sound knowledge in material management, supply chain management, or logistics.
- Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial action characterise you, and you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
- You are experienced in leading change, transformation, or optimisation projects and act confidently in complex environments.
- You bring solid experience with SAP MM, especially in material requirements planning and disposition, as well as knowledge of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), ideally in demand, forecast, and supply planning (Demand & Supply Planning).
- You have completed higher education at a university of applied sciences, university, or a comparable qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or industrial engineering.
- You have very good German skills; knowledge of other national languages is an advantage.
