The North Broye Health Network (RSNB) is an Association recognised as being of public interest. It is one of the four health networks in the Canton of Vaud.
With more than 90 collaborators, it brings together healthcare providers from the northern Vaud region and the Vaud and Fribourg Broye regions. Through its activities, it ensures the coordination of care, the guidance of users, and provides advice on regional health organisation.
To complete the team at the Geriatrics centre (diagnostic evaluations and assessments of the impact of difficulties on daily life), the RSNB is advertising the following position:
As part of our activities, we are looking for a medical secretary at a workload of 80-100%.
Your profile:
- You hold a diploma as a medical secretary (CFC or equivalent) or a commercial/administrative training complemented by proven experience in the medical or paramedical field.
- You have the ability to work independently, in close collaboration with family, medical and institutional networks, in a multidisciplinary and evolving context specific to the care of the elderly.
- You have an excellent command of French, both spoken and written. You demonstrate empathy and patience, essential qualities in contact with elderly patients and their relatives. You are comfortable with IT tools and administrative software (electronic patient records, electronic diary).
- You are proficient in typing medical reports. You have a well-developed sense of organisation and priorities, with the ability to manage unforeseen events.
- You are recognised for your rigour, autonomy and reliability in managing administrative tasks. You appreciate working in a multidisciplinary team (doctors, neuropsychologists, nurses, network partners, etc.).
Your mission:
- Manage medical schedules and plan appointments for the geriatrics consultation
- Ensure administrative follow-up of patients, from appointment booking to billing
- Welcome and guide patients and their relatives, often in a context of vulnerability, with kindness
- Collaborate closely with doctors and various internal and external partners (nursing homes, community medical services, care networks, families)
- Write, correct and send medical reports and consultation letters. Ensure digital archiving of documents
- Handle telephone calls and correspondence. Manage emails and mail for the consultation. Perform general secretarial tasks related to the smooth running of the consultation
