Pro Natura is the leading nature conservation organisation in Switzerland. With its 170,000 members, it is committed to the promotion and preservation of native fauna and flora. To lead our Communication and Marketing division at the Pro Natura General Secretariat in Basel, we are looking for a

In this key position, you will ensure the strategic and operational management of the Communication and Marketing department, which comprises 25 employees. Based on an integrated approach to non-profit marketing, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and development of the marketing, communication, and fundraising areas. As a member of the management team, you will participate in the development and implementation of the thematic, financial, and personnel strategies of the Pro Natura Central Association.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for communication, marketing, and fundraising (direct and digital)
• You develop and implement strategies and campaigns
• You lead, promote, and develop the division
• You manage change and organisational development processes within your division
• You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• You are responsible for planning, budgeting, and quality assurance

Your profile

• Higher education (university or university of applied sciences) in marketing and communication or a related discipline
• Extensive experience as a leader in marketing, integrated communication, and fundraising, ideally with non-profit organisations
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic skills, as well as experience in strategy and organisational development processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, persuasiveness, and ease in public speaking in French and German
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, humour, and integrity
• Decision-making abilities, conflict management, and negotiation skills
• A strong interest in nature conservation
