Cloud Native Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is an owner-managed IT service company and has been successful for over 25 years with the full spectrum of IT solutions. Tailored to public administrations, energy suppliers and SMEs in the service sector, our partner employs around 100 staff and impresses with excellent industry and technology know-how.
Role:
Operating Kubernetes in your own data centre means understanding all layers. You are confident in this area. You design the container platform from network connection to application deployment. Automation via IaC and GitOps is standard for you, not an extra. You support development teams with deployment and operation of their applications. In addition, you modernise existing Linux server environments.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for building, operating and further developing the on-premise Kubernetes platform including network and ingress components
You automate the infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps approaches
You operate monitoring and logging and analyse faults at system and network level
You accompany development teams in deployment, operation and optimisation of their applications
You maintain and modernise Linux systems with container technologies
In addition, you contribute to other DevOps and virtualisation topics
Qualifications:
You have solid practical experience in operating Kubernetes clusters and container environments
You are familiar with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana or Loki
You are proficient in Linux, including troubleshooting, performance analysis, networking, routing and firewalls
You work confidently with automation tools such as Ansible, Helm or Argo CD
You understand security concepts such as RBAC, network policies and secrets management
You work independently, in a structured manner and communicate fluently in German
