Tasks and Responsibilities

In short: You advance energy projects, develop people, and actively shape the future of our energy supply.

Overall management of energy projects from study through planning and realisation to commissioning and optimisation. Leading interdisciplinary teams, e.g. within the scope of a general planner mandate
Planning and realisation of energy systems for heating, cooling, steam, electricity, storage, CHP and other energy systems
Development of sustainable supply solutions for buildings, industry and municipalities
Utilisation of renewable energy sources such as biomass, geothermal energy, waste heat, groundwater/lake/river water and solar energy, combined with conventional energy carriers
Responsibility towards customers for quality, costs, deadlines and project success
Leadership, support, assessment and development of directly subordinate employees
Coordination of resources, projects and interdisciplinary project teams
Participation in business plan, financial planning, budgeting and implementation of the BU strategy
Support of BU management in organisational, operational and strategic matters
Structuring and further development of the department as well as ensuring economical workflows
Maintaining existing customer relationships as well as acquiring new customers and profitable contracts
Preparation of offers, processing of tenders/competitions and monitoring of market developments
Ensuring quality requirements according to IMS/GMS as well as financial management of assigned projects
Support in recruitment, knowledge exchange and further development of professional competencies

Your Profile

Degree from a University of Applied Sciences/ETH/Technical University or equivalent education in building services engineering, energy technology, supply engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
At least five years of professional experience as a project manager in the field of energy systems, energy/building technology or technical infrastructure
Experience in overall project management of complex projects is an advantage
Experience in personnel management or clear motivation to take on leadership responsibility
Knowledge of the civil engineering sector and MSRE technology is an advantage
Entrepreneurial thinking as well as enjoyment in customer care, acquisition and team development
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Team-oriented personality with high communication skills and sense of responsibility
Very good German language skills; additional languages are an advantage
