For the ward for psychotherapeutic crisis intervention and parent-child treatment, Crisis Intervention Centre Thurgau, we are seeking support. Ward PT5 offers 16 treatment places for people in various crisis and overwhelming situations, providing individual, psychotherapeutic, relationship- and coping-oriented treatment. Integrated into the ward are 5 parent-child treatment places for mothers and fathers with their children aged 0 to 5 years.

You will take on

• Professional care of our patients as a key person in the nursing process from admission to discharge in an interdisciplinary team
• Planning and conducting regular individual conversations
• Leading therapeutic and milieu-therapeutic groups
• Coordinating processes/tasks with preceding and subsequent care institutions
• Close, flat-hierarchy interprofessional collaboration in the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Participation in the conceptual further development of the ward
• Deputising for the care and nursing of infants and children in crises and to relieve the patients

You bring with you

• You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH
• Professional experience in psychiatry and/or paediatrics is an advantage
• You are committed to further training to maintain your knowledge
• You support learners in achieving their practical training goals
• You are flexible, resilient, independent and a team player
• You actively contribute to creating a positive working atmosphere
• You maintain an open, person-centred and participative communication style
• You have empathy in dealing with mentally ill people and their children
