In this role, you advise companies on the development and implementation of holistic cyber security strategies and support them in securing complex IT infrastructures. You develop security concepts on a technical and architectural level, identify vulnerabilities and strategic risks, and design security policies, processes, and effective countermeasures. You bring your experience from cyber security consulting or the audit environment and use your knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or BSI IT-Grundschutz. You work in a structured manner, think analytically, and have a keen sense of customer needs, ensuring high quality and clear communication. Responsibilities:
Advising companies on the conception and implementation of holistic security management structures.
Analysing existing IT environments and identifying security, risk, and optimisation potentials.
Developing security architectures and technical protection concepts based on business requirements.
Supporting customers in the selection and integration of suitable cyber security technologies.
Contributing to the development of innovative consulting offerings and modern security services.
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable higher education; further training in information security is an advantage.
Several years of experience in cyber security consulting, IT audit, or a comparable consulting environment.
Good knowledge of established security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or BSI-Grundschutz.
Experience with risk analyses, security assessments, and the creation of technical protection measures.
Strong consulting skills, conceptual thinking ability, and confident appearance in German and English.
