Based in Gollion, in the canton of Vaud, EMG ElectroProcess is a Swiss company specialised in industrial electricity, automation, and the manufacture of electrical panels.
We support our clients in the design, realisation, and commissioning of electrical and automation solutions, notably in the fields of industry, water treatment, infrastructure, and construction.
With a human scale, our team brings together complementary skills in electricity, automation, and process management, allowing us to follow projects from their study to their commissioning on site.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Cable Assembler able to work on our various projects, both in the workshop and during commissioning at our clients' premises.
In this role, you will notably be required to:
- Carry out the assembly, wiring, and equipping of electrical panels based on diagrams and technical plans (process panels, main low-voltage switchboards, secondary distribution panels).
- Ensure the connection and integration of various electrical and automation components.
- Perform checks, tests, and verifications of equipment.
- Conduct functional tests and make necessary adjustments on site.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and automation malfunctions.
- Carry out maintenance and modifications of existing installations.
Depending on your experience and skills, you will gradually gain autonomy and take on more responsibilities in programming and project commissioning.
Your profile:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrical installer, automation technician, electrical assembler, automation technician, or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Ideally, you have some experience in wiring electrical panels, industrial electricity, or automation.
- You can read and interpret electrical diagrams.
- You are comfortable with practical work and enjoy both workshop tasks and on-site interventions.
- You work with precision, method, and autonomy.
- You have a good team spirit and appreciate working in a small-scale structure.
- You hold a driving licence.
- You are willing to perform on-call duty approximately every 5 weeks.
