Automation Technician - Maintenance Technician

Our client based in the Chavornay VD region is looking for an automation technician for their industrial technology maintenance service

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production machines and various installations
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the schedule
• Modify or install new machines
• 2x8 shift work
• Occasionally ensure night on-call service

Profile

• Automation technician or electromechanical mechanic federal certificate of competence (CFC); holder of art. 15 OIBT (an advantage)
• 3-5 years of experience in industry, industrial maintenance or a similar position
• Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and other areas (PLC, ATEX) are considered a real asset
• Versatility, strong organisational skills and priority management
• Rigorous and precise, able to solve problems promptly, stress resistant
• Proficient user of office tools
• Fluent French / technical English level, a plus
