ICT System Specialist
Cantonal Police | 80-100% | Chur
Our ICT ensures that the operations center, investigations, and over 550 workplaces function reliably at all times. We operate around 150 server systems, specialized professional applications, as well as a security-critical infrastructure with high requirements for availability and data protection.
To strengthen our ICT Operations team, we are looking for a motivated individual to operate and further develop a modern hybrid IT infrastructure together with us.
- Operation, administration, and further development of our Windows and Linux server systems (virtualized environment)
- Participation in the operation of our hybrid infrastructure
- Involvement in the application support of our specialized systems
- Active participation in security and data protection issues as well as support in implementing measures to protect our systems and data
- Administration of network access technologies
- Monitoring system performance as well as analyzing and resolving disruptions
- Participation in exciting IT projects and the introduction of new technologies
- Periodic, scheduled on-call duty (approx. 4–6 weeks per year)
- Completed training in computer science with corresponding further education
- In-depth experience in system administration and automation is an advantage
- Initiative and enthusiasm for new technologies
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Teamwork skills and good communication abilities
