Who are we?

Roger Seematter SA is a Swiss SME specialised in the sale, installation, maintenance and repair of professional equipment mainly intended for the hospital hygiene and laundry sectors.

To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for an experienced and autonomous field service technician, residing in the Lausanne region, to work mainly in the canton of Vaud and neighbouring areas.

Depending on service needs and operational requirements, interventions may occasionally extend to the whole of French-speaking Switzerland.

Your tasks

• Ensure troubleshooting, maintenance and preventive servicing of our professional equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Advise customers on the use and maintenance of their installations.
• Write intervention reports and ensure follow-up of completed work.
• Participate in the on-call service according to the established schedule.
• Carry out interventions mainly in the canton of Vaud and neighbouring regions, with occasional travel possible throughout French-speaking Switzerland.

Your profile

• Completed technical training (CFC as electromechanic, automation technician, electrician, mechanic or equivalent training).
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
• Good knowledge of electricity, mechanics and fault finding.
• Ability to work independently and in an organised manner.
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit and customer orientation.
• Good command of French, both spoken and written.
• Category B driving licence essential.
• Residence must be located in the Lausanne region or immediate vicinity.

Experience in professional laundry equipment is an advantage but not essential.
