Investment Solutions Intern

compenswiss is among the largest institutional investors in Switzerland. Its main role is to guarantee the payment of social insurance benefits. The management of a broadly diversified portfolio of more than CHF 45 billion is handled by a team of around 60 people.

compenswiss is looking for a candidate, for a duration of 6 months:

Within the Portfolio Construction service, attached to the Investment Solutions department, you will contribute to the development of agent-based AI solutions applied to the investment process, as part of innovative projects.

Your tasks

• Develop and experiment with agent-based AI solutions applied to the investment process
• Identify use cases to improve the efficiency of analysis, allocation, risk management and reporting activities
• Design and test AI agents integrating financial, economic and sustainability data
• Evaluate the performance, limitations and governance of the developed solutions
• Contribute to the integration of AI within the tools and processes of the Investment Solutions department
• Participate in the writing of reports, presentations and technical documentation

Your profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, mathematics, physics, economics or finance
• Good understanding of agent-based and generative AI and interest in its applications to investment processes
• Good programming skills (Python, Git and SQL essential)
• Interest in financial markets – knowledge of investment theory is an asset
• Good command of English (minimum B2)
• Analytical mind, creativity, intellectual curiosity and strong learning ability – potential and desire to develop concrete solutions are more important than professional experience
