The Centre for Developmental and Neuropsychiatry (Management: Dr. (BG) Sandra Schleusener and Tabea Blatter) is part of the Clinic for Consultation, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (Management: Dr. med. Rafael Meyer MHA). It offers a unique assessment and treatment service in Switzerland for people with intellectual developmental disorders (learning disabilities) and mental illness. In addition to a neuropsychiatric outpatient clinic, the centre has an interdisciplinary assessment unit, a consultation and liaison service for facilities for people with intellectual developmental disorders, as well as a specialised ward that meets the latest scientific findings and quality standards in terms of facilities and treatment concepts.
Profile
- Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ, preferably with experience in psychiatry, acute geriatrics, acute medicine or with people with intellectual developmental disorders
- Willingness and interest to familiarise yourself with a highly specialised treatment concept and to further develop it
- Strong personality with pronounced social and self-competence, as well as enjoyment of complex challenges
Tasks
- Inpatient acute care of people with intellectual developmental disorders with various psychiatric conditions in close collaboration with the highly qualified interdisciplinary team
- You share responsibility for the implementation of therapeutic, nursing and educational measures
- Thanks to early planning in shift work, you have the opportunity to plan your leisure time and work shifts in advance
