Building Automation Technician (m/f/d)
Role:
You implement modern building automation solutions and take on the technical execution from programming through commissioning to customer training. In doing so, you develop and configure DDC/PLC systems, user interfaces, and control systems for sophisticated HVAC systems and ensure reliable plant operation. With your independent working style, you support project teams, accompany customers on site, and contribute to the successful implementation of automated building technology.
Responsibilities:
Development, programming, and adaptation of DDC, building automation, and PLC systems
Creation, configuration, and commissioning of HMI control stations as well as visualisation solutions
Programming and setup of control systems for automated plants
Carrying out commissioning at customer sites throughout Switzerland
Support in project planning and technical collaboration in ongoing automation projects
Close cooperation with project managers and internal specialist departments in implementing customer-specific solutions
Conducting customer training and creating technical plant documentation
Support in fault analysis, adjustments, and optimisation of existing systems
Ensuring reliable plant operation through periodic on-call and standby duty
Qualifications:
Completed training in electrical engineering, automation, or HVAC
Further training as a Technician TS/HF or a comparable technical qualification is an advantage
Experience in building automation, especially in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning control, is desirable
Knowledge in programming and implementation of DDC/PLC systems
Understanding of automated building technology, controls, and technical interfaces
Confident use of MS Office and common digital tools
Independent, flexible, and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
Willingness to take responsibility for technical projects and customer solutions
Driving licence Category B
Fluent German skills
