Job objective: To lead the entire controlling function of Bechtle Suisse SA while steering and supporting the transformation of financial operations within the Swiss entities.

This position combines management of controlling, partnership with business units, controlling governance, process harmonisation, automation, visibility on PMO performance, and financial operational excellence.

Your mission and responsibilities

Financial leadership :

• Manage budgeting, forecasting processes, as well as monthly and annual closings.
• Provide management reports and strategic analyses to the general manager and local management.
• Support strategic decisions and improve the profitability of Bechtle Suisse SA and, potentially, other company divisions.

Business controlling and governance :

• Participate in and lead activities aimed at standardising operational controlling processes within the different entities.
• Support and drive financial and controlling initiatives to improve performance management (standard cost concept and management, intercompany transactions, service profitability by technology domain, etc.)
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance of Navision.
• Oversee billing, work in progress, receivables, and controlling.

Transformation and automation:

• Support automation initiatives related to the "quote to invoice" process, project management, and service management.
• Collaborate with IT to improve ERP integrations and reporting.
• Prepare data migration for the planned SAP S/4HANA implementation in 2027-2028.
• Contribute to improving the IT environment, especially within sales and service organisations, by automating tasks to enhance quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.

Team management:

• Lead and develop the local controlling team.
• Foster collaboration within the controlling team by establishing cross-functional responsibilities (e.g., the "Revenue Finance" business partner).
• Support managers in financial performance management.

Stakeholder management:

• Be the primary contact for the Swiss Management Team, Group Finance, auditors, and business managers.

• Accuracy and timeliness in account closing and reporting

• More than 10 years of experience in leading financial services, controlling, or financial operations
• Strong knowledge of finance and controlling in Switzerland
• Expertise in ERP (Navision/Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage)
• Experience in driving transformations and process optimisation
• Fluent in French and good command of German; professional proficiency in English
