For a traditional Swiss company specialising in the production of high-quality letterboxes, shipping packaging, and customised envelope solutions, we are looking for an independent and motivated

Operations Mechanic (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Organising and carrying out maintenance and repairs on machines, systems and equipment (locations in Zurich and St. Gallen)
• Independently performing unplanned repairs in the production operation
• Assisting with machine overhauls at foreign subsidiaries in Austria and Hungary (approx. 3 times a year)
• Turning, milling, drilling, grinding, manual work and welding
• Planning, preparing and performing preventive maintenance
• Procurement, production and inventory management of spare parts
• Technical support and participation in projects

Your Profile

• Apprenticeship as a machine or polymechanic
• Sound knowledge of assembly technology, pneumatics and conventional manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment
• Fluent German skills (spoken & written)
• Independent, resilient and flexible
