Head of Educational Service in the Childhood Department at 80%
Your mission
In close collaboration with the operational head of service, you ensure educational quality, the coherence of the care project, and the smooth running of the structure. You contribute to the development of a professional environment that promotes both the well-being and safety of children, the quality of care, and a positive team dynamic.
Your main responsibilities
- Ensure educational quality and the coherence of the care project of the structure.
- Oversee the daily smooth running of the structure, respecting the standards defined by the Municipality and cantonal requirements.
- Supervise and support the coordination team, including group leaders.
- Collaborate with the operational head of service and municipal administration on financial, HR, and administrative management of the site, including scheduling, team integration, monitoring staff numbers and indicators.
- Contribute to improving the efficiency of the structure while maintaining expected quality standards.
- Lead the creation and development of educational projects focused on the child’s well-being, safety, and development.
Your profile
- Recognised diploma in early childhood or social work (childcare educator or equivalent training).
- CAS in child education or care structure management, or willingness to undertake this training.
- Proven experience in team management and running an early childhood care facility.
- Ability to work complementarily, especially with the operational head of service.
- Excellent knowledge of young child development and contemporary educational approaches.
- Analytical mind, decision-making ability, and sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mastery of regulatory requirements applicable to early childhood care structures.
- Comfort with IT tools.
- Excellent command of French; knowledge of English is an asset.
