The business area "Expansion and Renewal Projects" is responsible for all construction projects of the SBB infrastructure regarding expansion, modernisation and renewal of the SBB railway infrastructure. Around 1800 employees work daily to implement the requirements in over 2000 construction projects. In the business unit "Engineering", the core competencies in project management, procurement and contract and stakeholder management are combined with the specialist expertise for track, overhead line, cables, rail access and technical systems (planning and execution) as well as geomatics, environment & sustainability and data management (competence centre). The "Geomatics" department within "Engineering" is responsible for the key topics of routing and surveying. This involves, on the one hand, the compliant planning of all track and turnout systems taking financial requirements into account, and on the other hand, the procurement, commissioning and supervision of surveying and monitoring services within the projects. In the field of Building Information Modelling (BIM), "Geomatics" plays a central role in capturing existing data. The department is also responsible for updating and managing the organisational system in the "Fixed Installations Database (DfA)" (route network, track network, fixed points) as well as the quality of the track insurance network. Bring your talent as part of a motivated and ambitious leadership team "Engineering" and make a direct contribution to the further development of Switzerland's transport infrastructure, focusing on the use of innovative technologies and customer benefit.

- You ensure the performance capability of the department regarding resources and competencies and are responsible for safe, cost-, schedule- and quality-compliant planning and implementation of all expansion and renewal projects in the "Geomatics" department.
- Through digitalisation, harmonisation and standardisation of collaboration with internal and external partners, you actively contribute to efficient project execution.
- You take the lead regarding the specialist management "Geomatics", represent the interests of the SBB and the department and are the contact person for internal and external stakeholders.
- As a member of the "Engineering" leadership team, you advise and support content-wise and process-wise in strategic and conceptual issues, as well as in the sustainable, cultural and digital development of the entire business unit.
