The Heart and Vascular Centre combines the university clinics for cardiology, angiology as well as heart and vascular surgery and is one of the leading centres for heart and circulatory diseases. As a nursing expert APN specialising in cardiology and advanced heart failure (LVAD, heart transplantation), you support the care team and sustainably strengthen the quality of nursing care. Shape the future at the Heart and Vascular Centre from 1 May 2026.

What to expect

• Support, advice and empowerment of nursing professionals in complex patient situations, especially for patients with LVAD and heart transplantation
• Promotion of individual, evidence-based and high-quality nursing care in close coordination with the interprofessional treatment team
• Ensuring nursing quality in the shared governance team in collaboration with specialists, department management and nursing practice trainers
• Development, implementation and further development of guidelines, standards as well as projects and working groups
• Professional leadership, coaching and training of specialists and nursing staff

Your profile

• Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) or close to completing the degree with strong motivation for further development
• Several years of clinical experience in an acute hospital and enthusiasm for challenging nursing issues
