Technical and personnel leadership of a 10-member network engineering team as well as responsibility for operation, further development and strategic orientation of the network infrastructure. Further development of network architecture, standards, security, observability and automation with a focus on stability, scalability and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Technical and personnel leadership of a 10-member network engineering team
Ensuring stable, secure and high-performance network operation
Further development of network architecture and strategy
Translating business requirements into technical solutions
Definition and further development of technical standards, processes and best practices
Further development of network observability, security and network automation
Technical prioritisation and management of projects
Ensuring sustainable and professional implementation of network solutions
Qualifications:
Several years of leadership experience in a technical environment, ideally network, telecommunications or IT infrastructure
Degree in IT/Telecommunications or comparable qualification
Solid knowledge in network architecture, routing, SDN, IP/MPLS, security and monitoring
Experience with network automation
Knowledge of FTTH, DOCSIS, Cisco and Huawei
Strategic thinking combined with strong implementation skills
Clear communication, decisiveness and strong leadership skills
Solution-oriented, pragmatic and reliable working style
Fluent in German
