Modern IT platforms thrive on innovation, stability, and intelligent automation. We are looking for an experienced individual who will further develop complex infrastructure environments, integrate new technologies, and ensure the reliable operation of a modern hybrid cloud landscape.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementation, and operation of modern server, virtualisation, and cloud infrastructures
Further development of hybrid Microsoft platforms as well as integration of new systems and technologies
Administration of Windows servers, virtualisation platforms, and digital workplace solutions
Optimisation of identity and access management processes as well as central infrastructure services
Support of modern virtual desktop infrastructure solutions and endpoint management platforms
Automation of operational processes with PowerShell and modern infrastructure-as-code methods
Implementation of patch, lifecycle, and security measures according to current best practices
Integration of new business applications into hybrid infrastructure and cloud environments
Responsibility for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
Participation in infrastructure, cloud, and digitalisation projects as well as continuous optimisation of existing platforms
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science or comparable qualification
Several years of experience as a system engineer or infrastructure specialist
Solid knowledge of Windows Server, VMware or Hyper-V
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure environments
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, or virtual desktop technologies is an advantage
Experience with scripting, automation, and modern infrastructure concepts
Knowledge in networking, backup, monitoring, and IT security
Analytical thinking as well as structured and independent working style
Enthusiasm for cloud computing, automation, and modern enterprise infrastructures
