Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, one of the leading technical universities in Europe located in Zurich, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed, analytically strong and digitally savvy personality as a controller with a focus on digitalisation. You actively shape financial management, accompany strategic projects and bring new technologies into daily financial control. In this role, you drive the digitalisation of controlling forward and support departments, central units and the school management in financial, reporting and analysis matters.
Responsibilities:
You ensure efficient use of resources and create transparency through sound financial analyses, meaningful management information and target group-appropriate decision-making bases
You analyse complex financial contexts, identify areas for action and derive concrete recommendations
You actively drive the digitalisation of controlling and continuously develop processes, control logics and controlling approaches
You support the standardisation and harmonisation of controlling instruments, data models and internal management tools
You help build BI solutions and automated evaluations and develop contemporary dashboards in collaboration with colleagues from management information and digitalisation
You are the central contact person for financial, reporting and analysis questions for departments, central units and school management
Qualifications:
You have a university degree in business administration or business informatics with in-depth expertise or further training in controlling or finance
You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in controlling
You have solid experience in digitalisation, process optimisation and SAP as well as in developing modern AI, BI, reporting or automation solutions
You show pronounced curiosity and enjoy critically questioning existing processes and testing new technologies
You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to prepare complex financial matters understandably
You are a proactive, responsible personality with very good German and English skills
