About the job
Your mission
1. Management and administration of the association or foundation
- Ensure the administrative, operational and financial management of the association or foundation.
- Support the governing bodies in the preparation, organisation and follow-up of their work.
- Organise committee, council, commission and working group meetings, including invitations, preparation of agendas and meeting files.
- Write or coordinate the minutes, ensure their follow-up and oversee the implementation of decisions taken.
- Organise general assemblies, prepare the necessary documents and ensure their smooth administrative running.
- Monitor statutory obligations, carry out necessary statutory updates and coordinate the corresponding administrative procedures.
- Supervise accounting, prepare budgets and monitor their execution in liaison with the competent bodies.
2. Promotion and representation of the association or foundation
- Promote the association or foundation, its activities, services and projects to its target audiences.
- Defend the interests of members with political, administrative and institutional authorities.
- Participate in consultations, hearings and work related to legislative or regulatory projects.
- Write, coordinate and present positions, notes and arguments.
- Represent the organisation in official commissions, working groups and external bodies.
- Contribute to communication, visibility, public relations and, where appropriate, media relations activities.
3. Development of the association or foundation's network
- Develop, animate and retain the network of members, partners, sponsors and stakeholders.
- Identify new members, partners or supporters, in line with the organisation's objectives.
- Design and organise events, meetings, conferences and networking activities.
- Strengthen links with economic, institutional, academic and associative actors.
- Develop services or projects that meet the needs of members or beneficiaries.
- Contribute to the search for partnership, funding or development opportunities.
Your profile
- Higher university education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing an association, foundation, professional federation or comparable organisation.
- Native French speaker with good knowledge of English and German, enabling effective communication in writing and orally.
- Very good organisational, planning, prioritisation and follow-up skills.
- Excellent writing, analytical and synthesis skills.
- Interpersonal ease and ability to interact with high-level interlocutors.
- Proficiency in common office software tools.
Other required skills
- Good knowledge of the economic, institutional and political environment of Geneva and Switzerland.
- Understanding of the functioning of associations, foundations, governing bodies and decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of issues related to interest representation, public affairs and institutional communication.
- Knowledge of the Geneva economic fabric and the expectations of members or stakeholders.
- Rigor, discretion and sense of responsibility.
- Initiative, autonomy and sense of priorities.
- Ability to work with several bodies, principals or stakeholders in parallel.

- Ability to structure complex files and formulate clear recommendations.
