Junior Accountant with Development Potential (m/f/d)

You love numbers, like to keep an overview of customer accounts, and find the right solution in direct exchange with customers. In this role, you ensure correct accounts receivable bookkeeping together with an experienced team and help keep accounts receivable as low as possible. You combine analytical flair with communicative strength and regularly liaise with internal and external contacts. You can expect a varied, responsible task with intensive induction, product and system training, as well as targeted support for your professional and personal development. Responsibilities:
- You are jointly responsible as part of our team for correct accounts receivable bookkeeping
- In this role, you independently check customer accounts, clarify open points, and process bookings and repayments
- As accounts receivable accounting clerk, you post incoming and outgoing payments and check payment bookings
- You handle supplier enquiries (transit) and support the maintenance of customer master data, including recording new customers and changes
- In this role, you create and send reminders and monitor customers’ credit limits including credit checks as well as blocking or releasing orders
- As accounts receivable accounting clerk, you are in daily contact with customers, internal sales, and sales front and monitor relevant reports
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you have completed a commercial apprenticeship
- Ideally, you have experience in accounting
- You have a strong affinity for numbers and work precisely and reliably
- You have confident German language skills in spoken and written form
- You are accustomed to working with IT or have a strong interest and motivation to engage with the IT landscape
- You score with knowledge of Microsoft Navision and work motivated, committed, team-oriented, and with pleasure in customer contact
