Responsibilities:
You lead the purchasing team both professionally and disciplinarily and work operationally alongside them.
Build and maintain an international supplier network.
You define category strategies including procurement and risk planning.
Market analyses provide you with the basis for further development of the supplier portfolio.
You prepare and conduct negotiations and conditions.
Close coordination with development and quality on technical procurement issues.
You monitor costs, performance and market changes within the managed categories.
Contribute to the introduction and further development of SAP processes.
Qualifications:
Technical apprenticeship with business management further training or degree in a related field.
Several years of professional experience in international technical purchasing.
Practical experience in the procurement of technical components and industrial products.
Initial experience in managing employees is an advantage.
Independent working style with a strong implementation focus.
Confident negotiation skills with international suppliers.
Willingness to travel occasionally for about 10% of the time.
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
