Role:
In this position, you are responsible for the financial controlling of the assigned production cost centres as well as research, development, and investment activities. You ensure accurate monthly closings, lead the annual budget planning, and support the finance and production management with forecasts and variance analyses. Additionally, you further develop the controlling processes and ensure compliance with internal SOX controls.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring accurate monthly closings and analysing the expenses of the production cost centres
Supporting finance and production management through cost forecasts and variance analyses
Monitoring the correct recording and representation of research, development, and investment activities in the monthly closing
Ensuring reliable data on research and development costs in SAP and other reporting tools
Leading the annual budget planning for the assigned cost centres
Continuous optimisation of controlling and reporting processes
Ensuring compliance with internal controls according to SOX
Handling inquiries from internal and external audit bodies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, preferably with a focus on accounting or controlling
At least five years of professional experience in accounting and controlling within a production company
Proficient use of SAP
Initial experience in production controlling as well as controlling of research, development, and investment activities
Basic knowledge of project management
Strong analytical skills and communication abilities
