DevOps Engineer (80-100%)
In the IT services area, we are responsible for the construction and operation of the IT infrastructure of DV Bern and our customers. As the "Security and Linux" department, we are responsible for operating in-house applications as well as customer servers.
As a DevOps Engineer, you play an important role in planning, operating, and further developing our development infrastructure. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery are not foreign words to you, but your home. In close collaboration with our Linux Engineers, the architecture managers, and the development teams, you define processes, evaluate, install, and integrate the necessary tools for an efficient and smooth deployment process and operation. This is within the framework of our ISO 27001 certification. You support us in the area of operations but are also active in development projects in a supportive and advisory capacity. You enjoy independent work and a lot of creative freedom in your area of expertise.
We expect from you
- IT education (federal certificate/diploma, HF, FH or comparable work experience)
- Several years of experience in the DevOps area (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
- Know-how in dealing with Ansible and Puppet
- Expertise in containerization, Kubernetes / RedHat OpenShift
- Know-how in agile software development
- Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Flux, Sentry, Sonar, and Weblate is an advantage
- Strong service orientation, high independence, and personal responsibility
