Role:
Do you want to actively shape the technical future of an industrial production site? In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the Technology department and ensure the availability and value preservation of equipment and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Personnel management of six employees and responsibility for the areas of mechanics, electrical engineering, and infrastructure
Participation in the steelworks management team
Ensuring equipment availability and sustainable value preservation
Planning and control of regular maintenance as well as the major summer overhaul
Responsibility for budget, key figures, and investment planning in the technical area
Implementation of continuous improvement process (CIP) measures and continuous optimisation of technical processes
Close cooperation with site management and external suppliers
Ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards
Optimised use of personnel and materials
Qualifications:
Technical basic training with advanced professional education, ideally FH Engineer
Several years of leadership and industrial experience
Strong leadership skills and enjoyment in developing employees
Responsible, structured, and entrepreneurial working style
Implementation-strong, communicative, and decisive personality
Fluent German and good English skills
Good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP
Willingness for on-call duties and flexibility in 24/7 operations
