Specialist Staff Member School Administration / Assistant to the School Management and Deputy 110 - 120%The Kantonsschule Enge is a short-term grammar school with the Matura profiles "Economics and Law", "New Languages" and "PPP" as well as a commercial middle school (HMS). Additionally, we offer a bilingual Matura course German/English and accent classes in sustainability and cooperation.
At our school, around 1,200 students are taught by 150 teachers. 30 employees in administration and operations jointly ensure a reliable school operation.
Our secretariat is the central point of contact for students, parents and teachers. To strengthen and further develop our team, we are looking for up to two committed, experienced and digitally savvy personalities immediately or by arrangement.
The tasks and responsibilities are divided according to strengths and experience. The roles combine diverse tasks in school administration with a confidential assistant function for the school management and the deputy.
Your tasks
- independent and responsible tasks in school administration as well as handling a variety of concerns from students, parents and teachers;
- tasks in personnel and/or financial administration, especially entries/exits, changes, creditors, debtors, invoices and cash management;
- organisational and administrative support of the school management and the deputy;
- coordination of appointments, information and administrative processes in the environment of the school management;
- careful and discreet handling of confidential information;
- participation in the further development and digitalisation of administrative processes;
- close cooperation with the school management and the deputy.
Your profile
- a commercial education or a comparable qualification;
- several years of professional experience in a demanding administrative assistant role;
- good knowledge in personnel and/or financial administration, ideally experience with creditors, debtors and cash management;
- very good organisational skills as well as an independent, structured and forward-looking working style;
- high digital affinity and interest in the further development of work processes;
- pronounced sense of responsibility, service orientation and discretion;
- very good oral and written German skills.
- You keep an overview even in a lively school environment, communicate clearly and appreciatively and enjoy working independently as well as in a team. For the assistant function of the school management, you also bring high trustworthiness, organisational skills and the ability to act proactively and coordinate changing requirements securely.
