Your tasks
- Shape the digital future - as a Network Engineer you safely guide data streams to their destination and ensure smooth connections that network people and systems.
- You operate 350 state-of-the-art SD networks in the DC and access areas, several next-generation firewall clusters as well as the cantonal-wide MPLS network.
- Whether in 2nd level support in the network area or advising departments and schools on network security - your expertise is used in a variety of tasks.
- You support the zoning of services, implement necessary firewall releases and maintain and further develop the modern zero-trust architecture.
- The creative development of solutions and concepts for exciting customer projects gives your area of responsibility real scope for design.
Your profile
- You have completed training in computer science or a corresponding further education and have a Cisco certification as CCNP.
- You have already proven your expertise in the network area (firewall, VPN, identity services, 802.1X/MAB, DNS/DHCP, IP/MPLS, LAN, WLAN) for several years.
- You want to develop further and have an affinity for technical innovations in the field of network security.
- Your pronounced organisational skills and flexibility are valuable strengths that you enthusiastically bring to our team - in addition, you have very good knowledge of the German language, both spoken and written.
- With a category B driving licence you are mobile in your varied everyday life and complete your profile with the willingness to be on call (approx. every two months).
