Job description
The Mimosas foundation is a human-sized establishment with a family spirit that welcomes
29 residents. Housed in a renovated old house adapted in the heart of the Geneva countryside, our EMS welcomes elderly and disabled residents, both physically and mentally, some very dependent, as well as some pre-AVS aged people with psychiatric disorders.
Versatile employee in hospitality and housekeeping sectors, auxiliary position for replacements
Main tasks:
- Favor adapted communication and personalized support to promote the resident's well-being;
- Pick up meals and check their quality;
- Ensure the setup and serving of meals;
- Prepare breakfasts and snacks;
- Maintain and clean common areas as well as rooms, respecting cleaning directives and techniques, as well as waste and laundry management;
- Collaborate with other teams of the Foundation;
Profile sought
- Experience in EMS and/or hospitality service is a plus;
- You know and ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitary, and food safety standards;
- Strong interest and aptitude for supporting elderly people, including residents with cognitive disorders, with empathy, patience, and kindness;
- Aptitude to work in a team and independently;
- You are very versatile; motivated, committed;
- Autonomous, rigorous, organized (priority management);
- Resilient, flexible, and adaptable to changes;
- Capacity for integration, listening, and relational skills;
- Strongly interested in working in a small-sized structure;
- Motivated by split shifts, Monday to Sunday, and occasional replacements in the service;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written French;
- Category B driving license mandatory (manual car);
- Swiss or valid permit.
