For an established psychiatric institution in the Wil region, we are looking for a committed qualified nurse HF/FH (m/f/d) for the gerontopsychiatric ward. With your solid expertise, empathy, and appreciative approach, you will support older people with mental illnesses or cognitive impairments and contribute decisively to their well-being, safety, and best possible quality of life.
Requirements Profile
- Training as a qualified nurse HF/FH (SRK recognition is required for qualifications obtained abroad)
- Ideally, you have experience in psychiatry or long-term care
- Empathy, team spirit, and the ability to keep a cool head even in challenging situations are natural for you
Tasks
- You take on the professional care and individual support of patients and independently design the care process in a resource-oriented manner
- In close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, you ensure holistic, high-quality, and patient-centred care
- With expertise, empathy, and patience, you accompany older people with mental illnesses or cognitive impairments and promote their independence, orientation, and quality of life
- You carefully document the care process and actively contribute to the continuous development of care quality
