About the job
The Walensee Service Area AG is located on the A3 motorway Zurich-Chur and offers a breathtaking view of Lake Walensee and the Churfirsten. From 6:00 am daily, we offer our guests from all over the world a classic, serviced restaurant with 120 seats, a shop, and a petrol station. Our restaurant is known for its Cordon Bleu specialties, calf's liver with rösti, as well as seasonal specialties such as asparagus and game.We are looking for a Head Chef m/f/d by arrangement
We expect:
- A completed apprenticeship as a cook
- Several years of experience as a cook, preferably with leadership experience
- Management and organisation of the kitchen
- Creative menu design and planning
- Enjoyment of fresh, seasonal cuisine
- Creative presentation of dishes
- Purchasing and stock control
- Ensuring and maintaining hygiene standards according to HACCP
- Role model function and contemporary staff management
- Training of employees in the kitchen department
