Industrial Buyer (M/F)

Our client is an industrial company recognised for its expertise in designing and manufacturing high value-added technical solutions. Operating in an international and demanding environment, it places the performance of its Supply Chain at the heart of its success.

As part of its development, we are looking for an Industrial Buyer (M/F). You will play a key role in managing supply flows to ensure the availability of components necessary for production and to guarantee the continuity of operations.

Your tasks

• Analyse supply needs and manage orders via the ERP.
• Place, track and follow up orders with suppliers.
• Ensure delivery deadlines are met and anticipate risks of shortages.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing, Production, Planning, Quality and Logistics teams to ensure continuity of operations.
• Guarantee data reliability in the ERP and manage order confirmations.
• Monitor supplier performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of supply processes.

What we are looking for

• Training in Supply Chain, logistics, purchasing or industrial management (CFC, BTS, DUT, Bachelor or equivalent).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in supply management within an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in an ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, ProConcept or equivalent) and Excel.
• Good understanding of industrial flows and production planning.
• Fluent French and professional English.
• Organised, rigorous, responsive and excellent sense of priorities.
• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, sheet metal work, boilermaking or assembly would be appreciated.
• Experience in a certified ISO 9001, EN 9100 or ISO 19443 environment, as well as good knowledge of Incoterms and international supply, is a real asset.
