Construction Site Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager Building Construction for the independent management and organisation of demanding building construction sites in Central Switzerland. You will take responsibility for work preparation, site organisation, personnel management as well as cost, schedule and quality control and ensure economical project execution. As a central interface, you coordinate foremen, site personnel, site management and clients and are also responsible for quotations, measurements, reporting and change order management. The position combines operational site management with technical and commercial responsibility in building construction.
Responsibilities:
Independent site management and organisation of building construction sites from work preparation to successful project completion
Responsibility for the qualitatively flawless, economical and timely execution of the assigned construction projects
Creation and ongoing maintenance of work preparation, site setup, construction process and resource planning
Leadership and deployment planning of foremen, supervisors, skilled workers and site personnel
Preparation and processing of quotations, calculations and performance determinations for construction projects and additional services
Responsibility for cost control, reporting, measurements and billing of the executed work
Identification, documentation and processing of change orders and extra work as well as ensuring complete performance billing
Coordination and alignment with site management, clients, planners, suppliers and subcontractors
Organisation of materials, machines, equipment and personnel resources according to construction programme and project requirements
Ongoing monitoring of construction progress, productivity, quality and deadlines and initiation of necessary corrective measures
Ensuring work safety and legal requirements on the supervised construction sites as well as implementation of relevant safety concepts
Qualifications:
Completed technical training as a certified construction site manager HF or a comparable qualification in the main construction trade
Several years of professional experience in site management of building construction projects in Switzerland
Sound knowledge in work preparation, site organisation, calculation, measurement and reporting
Experience in cost control, change order management and billing of construction services
Good knowledge of Swiss construction practices, SIA standards, contract basics and occupational safety regulations
Good user skills in common construction administration, calculation and Microsoft 365 applications
Very good German language skills spoken and written
