Specialist / Senior Consultant Gynaecology & Obstetrics (60-100%) - Job Sharing Welcome

For an established outpatient gynaecology practice within an interdisciplinary medical centre in Zurich, we are seeking a specialist or senior consultant in gynaecology and obstetrics. The workload is flexibly adjustable between 60 and 100%. Job sharing is expressly welcome. The position is suitable both for experienced outpatient gynaecologists and for doctors wishing to re-enter the profession after a family phase or a career break.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent care of gynaecological patients in an outpatient setting
• Conducting preventive examinations and gynaecological assessments
• Pregnancy care and follow-up
• Consultation in the areas of contraception, desire to have children, menopause and general women’s health
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with general practitioner colleagues
• Co-design and further development of the gynaecological services

Your competencies:

• Specialist title in gynaecology and obstetrics or equivalent recognition in Switzerland
• At least three years of professional experience in a Swiss training institution or gynaecological practice
• Enjoyment of long-term outpatient work
• Independent and responsible working style
• High social competence and appreciative interaction with patients
• Certification for pregnancy ultrasound is an advantage but not a requirement
