Responsibilities:
Processing orders from demand notification to complete handling
Obtaining, checking, and comparing supplier offers including commercial evaluation
Conducting price and condition negotiations with existing and potential suppliers
Monitoring agreed delivery dates and coordinating in case of delays or deviations
Handling supplier complaints and following up on open measures
Checking incoming invoices and resolving discrepancies with the responsible departments
Managing supplier, article, and contract data in the SAP system
Supporting internal departments with orders, supplier queries, and other procurement topics
Qualifications:
Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship
Further education in purchasing at the level of a federal certificate or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a technically oriented environment
Good user knowledge of SAP and confident handling of common MS Office applications
Confident negotiation skills and the necessary assertiveness in supplier contact
Structured and independent working style with several parallel procurement processes
Clear communication and reliable cooperation with internal and external contacts
Good English skills for communication with international suppliers and business partners
