Experienced Bevel Hand Finisher

For a prestigious haute horlogerie manufacture located in the Val-de-Travers, we are seeking for a temporary assignment an Experienced Bevel Hand Finisher, skilled in both lathe work and traditional manual finishing.

Integrated within the high-end decoration workshop, you will work on complex components of exceptional watch movements.

Your main tasks

• Perform traditional hand bevelling (internal angles, external angles, cradles) on various movement components (bridges, levers, etc.).

• Carry out bevelling and lathe preparation operations according to haute horlogerie standards.

• Ensure decorative finishing: smoothing, stretching of flanks and blocked/mirror polishing.

• Strictly control the geometric and aesthetic conformity of each component under a binocular microscope.

• Maintain and sharpen your working tools (cabron files, files, lathes, pegwood).

Your profile

• Recognised training in watch decoration trades or equivalent confirmed experience (minimum 3 to 5 years) in haute horlogerie bevelling.

• Proven mastery of lathe techniques and manual finishing.

• Excellent visual acuity, manual dexterity and aesthetic rigour.

• Knowledge of and respect for watchmaking label standards.

• Autonomy, meticulousness, patience and a very good team spirit.
