Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You design, implement, and operate the security landscape with a focus on firewall, cloud, and endpoint security solutions, ensuring a high level of security. In this position, you are responsible for IAM services, ensure smooth authentication processes, and hunt vulnerabilities through proactive patch management and vulnerability scanning. In the event of security incidents, you keep a cool head, conduct root cause analyses, and actively support the IT on-call team. Additionally, you advise colleagues, promote a "security-first" mentality through awareness training, and thus actively contribute to the security culture.
Responsibilities:
You design, implement, and operate the security landscape with a focus on firewall, cloud, and endpoint security solutions
You are responsible for IAM services and ensure smooth authentication processes
You analyse security events and conduct proactive patch management as well as vulnerability scanning
You take on incident response, conduct root cause analyses, and support the IT on-call team
Additionally, you advise colleagues and promote a "security-first" mentality through active awareness training
Qualifications:
You have an IT education (EFZ/HF/FH) and at least 3 years of solid professional experience in security engineering
You are proficient in the administration of firewall solutions and ideally have experience with cloud platforms; SCIM and SAML are familiar terms to you
You orient your daily work according to standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST
You are a solution-oriented team player with a "hands-on" mentality and understand security as a service for the company
You communicate confidently in German and are fluent in English (B2/C1)
You work in a structured manner, think proactively, and bring a strong security awareness
