Head of Medical Technology Department (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the organisational and personnel management of the Medical Technology Department
• Leadership and management of projects in the field of medical technology in collaboration with purchasing, medical staff and nursing (e.g. equipment procurement, lifecycle management)
• First-level support for all medical technology devices including user training
• Implementation of the maintenance concept in compliance with legal requirements (MepV, GPI) as well as manufacturer specifications
• Responsibility for coordination, quality assurance and performance monitoring of the external medical technology service provider
• Function as vigilance contact person

Profile

• Medical technician HF or equivalent qualification with professional experience in a hospital environment
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in the field of medical technology or in a comparable position
• Good IT skills and experience with CAFM software
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory requirements, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication and coordination skills
• High sense of responsibility, assertiveness and customer orientation
