The Emma Couvreu Childhood Foundation since 1829 is actively committed to the reception, protection, and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are aimed at children and also their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully aligned with the minor protection policy established by the State of Vaud. Strong in its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilising more than 250 collaborators for this purpose.

To strengthen the existing team, we are pleased to recruit for our boarding school La Maison d’enfants de Pramousse, in the small group, a Social Educator at 100%

Job Description

• Accompany daily and support children benefiting from minor protection measures aged 4 to 12 and their families in accordance with the defined educational project.
• Work closely with the parents and families of the children received
• Lead and contain a group of children, some of whom have behavioural disorders
• Manage daily and administrative tasks

Your Profile

• Holder of a HES or ES diploma in social education or an equivalent qualification

• Ideally, experience and ongoing training in the field of childhood

• Proven ability to manage, lead and contain groups of children with behavioural disorders

• Ability to work both independently with a group of children and collaboratively in a team

• Driving licence essential

Start date: 1st January 2027
