What you can achieve.
- In your role, you independently carry out construction and maintenance work on railway electrical systems, primarily indoors.
- In doing so, you actively contribute to economically ensuring the reliability, availability and safety of railway infrastructure systems.
- You provide on-call service to rectify faults in the complex systems and ensure their availability.
- Depending on the project, you occasionally work at night as well as on weekends. Of course, these hours worked are additionally compensated accordingly.
- To successfully perform this important role, you will undergo a two-year part-time internal training. We train you to independently locate and rectify faults in the indoor systems.
What you bring with you.
- You are a technically inclined person, independent and proactive, and flexible in your working methods for the tasks at hand.
- For this position, you need a completed 4-year basic electrical training EFZ (Automation Technician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Installer or related professions).
- A prerequisite for starting the position is good hearing and vision so that you can recognise important acoustic and visual signals during trackside deployments.
- You need a category B driving licence for this position. Ideally, you live in the Brugg region to be able to reach the deployment site within about 30 minutes during on-call service.
- We expect very good oral and written German skills (B2-C2).
