You can expect an exciting and varied role as a Diagnostic Technician for fault diagnosis. In this position, you will work a continuous five-day week and occasionally on weekend shifts, playing a key role in ensuring trains run and are quickly returned to service after faults. In doing so, you contribute daily to providing our customers with the greatest possible comfort. You will work on one of the most modern vehicle fleets (Flirt Evo), which will be put into operation from 2026. This is what you can achieve.
- As a vehicle diagnostic technician, you are responsible for creating fault diagnoses on passenger transport rolling stock.
- You enjoy carrying out fault diagnoses during operation and downtime, as well as working in shift patterns with irregular hours and weekend shifts.
- You support increasing the availability of trains and minimising fault times.
- You return maintained and repaired vehicles to service, ensuring our customers travel with the highest possible comfort.
- You support knowledge exchange about the fleet and secure the expertise for maintaining the vehicle fleet at the maintenance location.

- You possess a high degree of independence, initiative and responsibility. Networked-analytical thinking and acting, as well as your flexibility, characterise you as a person.
- For this exciting and demanding position, you have completed a 4-year EFZ apprenticeship in an electrical field. You have been able to gain several years of solid professional experience in your career so far.
- Very good oral and written German skills (C1/C2) are required for this position.
- Since all instructions and documentation are in digital form, you are comfortable with common modern work tools and IT programmes such as MS Office and SAP.
- A category B driving licence is an advantage.
