Senior Physician: Dermatology Allergy (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role as a senior physician, you will lead the dermatology allergy department and be responsible for the further development of this area. You combine highly specialised patient care with university research and teaching. Your duties include treating contact allergies, occupational dermatoses, drug reactions, urticaria, and atopic diseases. With your clinical expertise and scientific focus, you actively shape the dermatology allergy field. You bring your leadership skills and enthusiasm for shaping and development to this role.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the professional and organisational leadership of dermatology allergy
- In this role, you independently conduct diagnostics and treatment of patients
- As a senior physician in dermatology allergy, you actively develop the area further
- You lead and develop the interprofessional team of dermatology allergy and the skin testing laboratory
- In this role, you share responsibility for quality, processes, and capacity planning
- You contribute to the strategic further development of the clinical service offering
Qualifications:
- You hold a specialist title in dermatology and venereology as well as a specialist title in allergology and clinical immunology or equivalent qualifications recognised in Switzerland
- You bring broad and solid clinical experience in dermatology allergy, including allergological diagnostics and independent care of complex patients
- You have experience with modern systemic and biological therapies for atopic, allergic, and immune-mediated skin diseases
- You possess leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential as well as motivation to independently lead, further develop, and actively implement changes in a clinical area
- You have a strong interest in organisation, process design, and economical use of resources in a university clinical environment
- You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, a confident manner, and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
