Your mission
In this position, you take on the technical leadership in complex modernisation projects of large hydropower plants. You are the link between high-end engineering, international manufacturers and the Swiss power plant operators. Your impact: Through your technical expertise and precise management, you ensure that critical infrastructures are made fit for the future and thus make a measurable contribution to decarbonisation and sustainable energy supply.
Your responsibilities
Technical project management: You coordinate and monitor all engineering and construction activities in line with the milestone planning.
Design and quality responsibility: You are responsible for the efficiency and quality of the development processes and ensure compliance with technical standards.
Technical procurement: You define technical specifications, prepare precise procurement documents for main components and accompany supplier negotiations until successful acceptance.
Interface management: As a central, technically skilled contact person, you accompany end customers (energy suppliers) and partners through all project phases - from the initial conception to the final handover.
Your profile
Solid foundation: Completed studies as a mechanical engineer (FH/HF or Bachelor/Master).
Industry know-how: Several years of experience in technical project management in industrial large-scale plant construction, ideally with specific knowledge in turbine construction or classic steel hydropower construction.
Personality: Strong communication skills, confident and binding manner in dealing with demanding stakeholders as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style.
Language skills: Fluent German and English skills (at least level B2); French or Italian skills are a valuable plus.
